Colombia gold company continues selling
Ventana Gold (TSX: T.VEN) shares slid 4.95% to $8.95 on Monday. The share price dipped as low as $7.30 before rallying in the afternoon. The company released updated drill results for its La Mascota property in Colombia midway through the trading session.
Among others, the gold producer highlighted hole 171 in the far northeast portion of the property, which intercepted 60 metres of 10.06 grams of gold per tonne. Hole 164 intercepted 64 metres of 4.77 grams per tonne of gold.
The company is also facing an arbitration panel to settle a dispute with the landholders of its Mascotta property.
