Shares of Canadian Royalties (TSX: T.CZZ) climbed 21% to 58 cents on Friday after Goldbrook Ventures (TSX: V.GBK) said it has entered into a shareholder, joint bid and operating agreement with China’s Jilin Jien Nickel Industry Co., Ltd. and its wholly-owned subsidiary Jien International Investment Ltd. to make an all-cash take-over bid for Canadian Royalties

LogMeIn soars on first day of trading
LogMeIn (NASDAQ: LOGM) shares shot up 25% to $20.02 on Wednesday in its stock market debut. Its initial public offering of 6,666,667 shares was priced to the public at $16.00 a share. The company is a provider of on-demand, remote-connectivity solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, IT services providers and consumers.
