 Stockscore Help

The Stockscore is a summary of numerous technical analysis indicators. Applying technical analysis criteria, the report rates these indicators or provides the result of each. Each indicator is defined in the glossary, and the indicators are grouped as Price, Volume or Momentum. In addition, the user is able to view the Stockscores Score at the top of each report. The Score is calculated by factoring over 40 technical analysis indicators combined in a proprietary model developed by Stockscores.

The user can gain a great deal of insight into market sentiment and the future for an individual stock by utilizing the Stockscore Report. Stocks tend to move in trends, and with momentum. Volume traded on a security is an indication of investor interest in the security. For a basic introduction to technical analysis, please see the educational essay, What is Technical Analysis?

There is terrific power in the ability to scan the market for specific criteria of the technical analysis indicators shown in the report. To do so, we invite you to consider the educational essay, How to Use the Market Scanning Tool, and utilize the Marketing Scanning Tool by going to our Tools section.
