Junior miner soars on gold/PGM results
Colossus Minerals (TSX: T.CSI) shares jumped 22% to $5.89 on Wednesday after the junior miner reported results from step-out diamond drilling on the Central Mineralised Zone of the Serra Pelada Project, the Colossus-COOMIGASP joint venture located in Para State, Brazil, which included 70.70 metres @ 53.59 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, 20.77 g/t platinum and 31.30 g/t palladium.
Drill results in for Kirkland Lake Gold
In an update on exploration drilling on the South Mine Complex, Kirkland Lake Gold (TSX: T.KGI, Stock Forum) said Tuesday that recent drilling from one of the exploration programs currently in progress has returned “high grade gold mineralization.”
Junior explorer surges on assay results
Shares of Vancouver-based Underworld Resources (TSX: V.UW) surged more than 42% to $1.50 Wednesday, after the company reported assay results from the first three holes from its 2009 drilling program at the Golden Saddle Zone at the White Gold Property in the Yukon.
Gold miner moves higher on drill results
Montreal-based La Mancha Resources (TSX: T.LMA) saw its shares jump 13% to 87 cents Tuesday, after the company reported that 42 short and long holes drilled from the bottom of the Hadal Awatib pits at its Hassai property in Sudan have returned “high-grade gold, copper and silver values.”
Junior miner surges on gold intersections
Victoria Gold (TSX: V.VIT) shares jumped 16% to 37 cents on Tuesday after the micro cap explorer reported the latest assay results from the Helen Zone at its Cove Project in Nevada, which included an intersection of 16.75 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold over 29.6 metres.
